To improve the quality of life through advocacy, collaboration for Hispanic business owners, and families in the Sauk Valley Area
The SVACC is the only Chamber in the area to have a Hispanic Business Leaders Committee (HBLC). HBLC is a committee of the SVACC and works to provide opportunities for Hispanic Business Leaders, works to promote Hispanic Culture and History through various events through out the year. Initially, a few business owners wanted to start a separate Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. However, through discussion and communication with the SVACC, it was realized that working together and being a part of the SVACC-which has been in the community since 1912- progress could be made quicker by using the tools and resources of the SVACC. The Hispanic Business Leaders Committee is a key committee of the Chamber and works to be a voice for the Hispanic Community and provide education, programming, and events relevant to all sectors of the community.
